Haridwar is the gateway of Uttarakhand from where travelers arrive and from where many infinite journeys begin. This is a holy place from where Ganga Ji goes to the plains and every twelve years the Maha Kumbh Mela is also organized here. If seen, the Char Dham Yatra begins from here. Rudraprayag is a small and beautiful town situated on the banks of the Alaknanda River, where the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers meet. The grand temple of Lord Rudranath is also situated on the bank of Sangam.

TriyugiNarayan

Triyuginarayan is a supernatural place where Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati got married. Every year many youths get married here. It is believed that the Kedarnath Yatra is not complete until one has a darshan in Triyuginarayan.


Gaurikund

Gaurikund is a beautiful place where Parvati, the consort of Lord Shankar, is worshipped. And there is also a hot water pool in which pilgrims take bath every year.


Kedarnath Temple

Kedarnath Temple is a supernatural and spiritual place, to reach it one has to climb a difficult climb. Every year lakhs of devotees from different areas come to Kedarnath to pay obeisance. Kedarnath is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and one of the four Dhams of Uttarakhand. The Kedarnath temple was built by the Pandavas and that temple was destroyed, then the Kedarnath temple was built by Adi Guru Shankaracharya. Kedarnath can be reached through various means. After the closure of the gates of Kedarnath Lord, worship is done in Omkareshwar temple Ukhimath in winter.
